Join us for an in-person Bob Ross painting class in Henderson, TN. We’re Chris and Anna Holmes, both Certified Ross Instructors, and we’d love to guide you through creating your very own masterpiece.

“I have been interested in Bob Ross for a fair few years now, and watching him on tv kept me going all through Lockdown. When I saw the advert for the Workshop on Facebook, I was thrilled. Plus, it was only a few minutes from where I live. On arrival, was made very welcome and they explained what would happen. I said I was complete novice, but they reassured me I would be fine. When I first saw the picture of what we were going to create, I was rather daunted and a bit nervous! After an initial introduction we were off, putting brush to canvas. They went through each stage, gradually building up the painting and instruction was very clear. They were very helpful too. I thoroughly enjoyed the experience and the teaching was first class. I was so pleased I actually managed to complete a whole painting in the 2 hours. I would totally recommend coming along to one of their sessions and have just booked my second session.”

  • Subscribe below to be notified about class schedule. We send a new class schedule at the end of the month for the following one. Our subscribers get the first dibs on available spots.

  • We do our best to have classes twice a month. From Spring 2024 we’re hoping to add a few more. Subscribe below to be notified about class dates and what projects we are doing next.

  • Yes you do. We need to know how many students to set up for (we don’t like to waste art materials - they are expensive)

  • You can pay by Venmo or PayPal before the class or cheque / cash payment on the day of the class. You still have to prebook the class though as we need to know how many students to set up for.

  • We want you to experience the Joy of Painting just as Bob taught it. You don’t need any previous experience - just willingness to try something new. We have students with all skill levels. We do everything step by step so anyone can follow along.

  • Yes. We welcome students who are 8 years old and older. There is no upper age limit.

  • All art materials are included in the cost of the class. We recommend wearing some old clothes just in case you get some paint on, but other than that you don’t need anything.

  • We are following Bob Ross’ technique so in each class we complete a full painting. You then get to take your masterpiece home and show off to friends and family.

  • Things come up - we understand. We’d appreciate you letting us know a day before at the latest if you can no longer make it, so we can offer your spot to someone else. Classes are very popular and we have a waiting list of students. We also don’t want to waste art materials.

  • Our brand new studio is now complete, so starting in July 2024 we are offering weekday classes too.

  • Yes we do. They are $75 and cover one class. Drop us an email if you’d like to get one.
