Why we painted this collection

Let’s be honest: a lot of what fills modern homes is just… noise and mass-produced trends.

We wanted the opposite: art with soul, story, and vibrant energy. A home that feels like your favorite escape.

This collection grew out of the moments that re-energize us—crisp mountain skies, glowing sunsets, and the kind of light that makes everything feel full of magic again. This is our very first print collection, and we’re thrilled to finally share it with you!

Our Story

We’re Anna and Chris Holmes—the husband-and-wife artist team behind Serenity in Color.

Anna paints full-time, translating memory, mood, and outdoor light into bold, color-rich landscapes. She’s constantly chasing skywatching wonder and creating art that makes home feel like an invigorating breath of fresh air.

Chris paints from real places here in Tennessee—sunlit riverbanks, quiet ponds, and golden morning light. Deeply tied to memory and time spent outdoors with his family, his paintings bring a grounded, uplifting slice of nature right to your walls.

They arrive unframed! Keeping them unframed keeps shipping costs low and gives you the total freedom to choose a standard, off-the-shelf frame that fits your unique home decor.

Where do you ship from?

For U.S. orders: Every print is made to order directly in our home studio in Tennessee! We handle every piece ourselves—personally inspecting the colors, checking every detail, and packaging it with care so it arrives straight from our hands to yours.

For international orders: We partner with trusted, local fine-art print labs around the world to produce and ship your order as close to your home as possible. This ensures faster delivery, keeps shipping costs low, and avoids unnecessary international customs delays!

What kind of paper is used?

We use premium quality, heavyweight fine art paper with a soft, subtle texture. It holds deep pigments and vibrant colors beautifully so your art stays rich for years to come.

Do you offer returns?

Because every print is custom-made to order just for you, we cannot accept standard returns. However, if your print arrives damaged or isn't absolutely perfect, please reach out right away—we will always make it right!
