Our Story

We’re Anna and Chris Holmes — the husband-and-wife team behind Serenity in Color.

I paint full-time, creating from memory, mood, and photographs. My focus is always on capturing places that invite peace — the kind of art that helps your home feel like an exhale.

Chris paints from real places here in Tennessee — ponds, riverbanks, and morning light — often inspired by time spent outdoors with his father and uncle. His work carries memory and story, yet speaks to anyone who finds calm in nature.
