Country State of Mind is for you if you like a little history under the paint.

These are landscape oil paintings on wood slices and antique saw blades — grain, teeth, curves, old marks, and not a square canvas in sight.

Before the paint goes down, each piece gets cleaned, sanded, sealed, primed, and sometimes primed again.

Rustic does not mean “slap some paint on it and hope no one looks too closely.”

Then comes the fresh artist oil: open sky, tree lines, water, and vibrant color that wakes the whole thing up. A little bit of outside when the dishes are still in the sink and your phone has been dinging since breakfast.
