She actually started as a ladybird on a ceramic piece for a charity auction. I painted her with a bluebell, then immediately wondered how she would come out in oil.

So I tried it.

That little experiment became LadyB, my first oil insect painting and the first piece in the Tiny Miracles collection. Apparently she had plans.

She’s like spotting a flash of red in the garden when you only went out to check if the basil had given up. Small thing. Big presence.
