The Heron's Haven – Class – Friday, Nov 13 @ 5:00–7:30 PM

A quiet Southern swamp has a vibe all its own—the still water, the towering cypress trees, and the total peacefulness of a little world tucked away from all the noise.

In The Heron's Haven, you’ll paint a 16×20 landscape inspired by that exact Southern wetland magic. A majestic cypress tree stretches its branches over calm, reflective water, while soft mist settles among the distant trees and birds glide across the evening sky.

Along the way, Chris and I will guide you step-by-step through the Bob Ross wet-on-wet oil technique. You’ll learn how to build textured tree trunks, layer vibrant foliage, paint soft water reflections, and add those quiet details that bring the scene to life.

Never picked up a paintbrush before?

Total beginners are our absolute specialty (and ages 10+ are welcome!). You don't need to bring a single thing except yourself—we supply every brush, canvas, and drop of oil paint, and we take you through every stroke at a relaxed, friendly pace.

You’ll head home with a complete, finished 16×20 oil painting filled with mysterious cypress trees, peaceful water, and a little Southern wilderness magic - ready to show off on your wall. (And yes, you really painted it yourself!)
